i like this a lot. i too am filled with anger when a man tells me to smile, it happens more often than you think. if you’re holding a BOOK they seem to feel even more anxious, and need that reassuring smile that you’re not planning to educate yourself to overthrow the patriarchy or something. i’ll smile when i fucking feel like it! it’s that simple.

Those who subvert social norms are, ostensibly, people who have forgotten that they can be seen, publicly, at any time. Therefore, when they transgress social norms—by expressing physical affection for a person not visibly coded as the opposite sex, for example, or by being fat and rejecting social and bodily invisibility—they need to be reminded of this omniscient social gaze, and in the absence of institutional discipline, must be punished so they do not transgress again. This is the mechanism by which a dude who sees me in a vividly-colored dress, walking alone as though I either don’t know or don’t care that I am defying bodily norms, feels compelled to scream “UGLY FAT BITCH” at me. He is applying social discipline and teaching me a lesson: Everyone can see you, and your body and/or behavior are unacceptable.

How To Create Easy Leopard Print Nails!
Leopard print nails are enduringly popular - everyone seems to love them whether they are in natural animal shades or bright neons! Here I have created baby pink Leopard print nails!
You will need:*Two different colours of nail varnish
*Black liquid eyeliner or black nail art penFirstly, prepare your nail as per your usual manicure with your first polish colour and wait until dry.
Step 1 - using your second polish colour, dab on small spots. Make sure you don’t load your brush with too much polish as you want the spots to be flat - you also want them to be random shapes, not perfectly round!
Step 2 - when your spots have dried, use your black eyeliner or nail art pen to create a line of colour on two opposite sides of the spots. Don’t overload your brush, just use a tiny bit of colour to highlight the spots - your not outlining it, just creating that characteristic leopard dappling!
